Silver Linings

It's like
The sun shining on a rainy day;
The grand finale of a long parade;
The hand on your shoulder as the tears fall down;

Or the diamonds glittering on the queen's old crown.

It's like 

The music playing when you feel so sad;

The cat's loud purr that makes you so glad;

The warm fire when coldness engulfs you;

The sigh of relief when your car starts anew.

Yes life is hard and things can knock us down,

But we need always remember that

There is a silver lining on every single cloud,

And that is what we must learn to see.

Life is good;

Life is beautiful;

Life is love.
