she realized that she was the only one
who would ever be enough
and as she wrapped her arms around herself 
for the first time
she released them all from her chains.

    1. Thank you so much Steph! I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I've had a journal since I was able to write lol. As for the inspiration - emotions inspire me to write. They are so complex and fascinating and I love experiencing them all. I want my words to inspire others, and help them process and accept all emotions as well.
